AVOID REFERRAL PROGRAMMES PITFALLS, LEARN DURABLE MARKETABLE SKILLS.

One of the reasons I initially got convinced to join another referral programme after my previous ordeal, is that the company in question could back up devices. I have invested in various referral programmes and I have learned in a hard way never to invest in any company I don’t have full access to my earnings or commissions. I’m so glad that the money I have in my internal wallet of a referral business I was introduced to a few months ago isn’t up to $20 as at when the company in question chose to cancel my account because I refused to tolerate their injustices. I feel it’s pointless to reveal the name of the company, that’s the reason I chose to make it anonymous. It will do you good to avoid investing in referral programmes that you’re not sure when the rug will be pulled either on their paying subscribers individually or collectively. Be warned, so you can save time, energy and money.

WHAT IS A REFERRAL PROGRAMME ?

A referral program is a formalised system that a company uses to encourage loyal customers to share their company with friends, family etc.  Referral programme simplify’s the sharing process, and most give customers’ rewards for sharing and promoting their companies.

MY FINGERS HAS BEEN BURNT SO MANY TIMES. NOT IN LITERAL TERM, THOUGH!

I mean, I’ve lost a lot of money so many times in some companies who thrives through referral programmes. Sometimes it’s very helpful to learn lessons in a hard way. Some companies lures people into their businesses and promises to pay continues spill over from uplines. And some upline’s in turn lures their downlines to keep bringing more people into such companies so they could receive huge amount of commissions. Also, the companies could trap such referrals in by promising them different levels of rankings that could enable them earn more money

THE LAST STRAW THAT BROKE THE CARMEL’S BACK!

I discovered that my expenses keep exceeding my income. Also, I got to know that the company has been taking some money directly from my bank card about 3 times even though I have ticked the box in my internal wallet to allow payments for my monthly subscription to be taken.  Also, the company’s customer support most recent response to my message explains that my next payment will be due in the month of August 2024 since I had already paid almost $26 so I could be on top of the game as a team leader instead of paying the usual $9.97 for monthly subscription. But later on, I wrote to the company’s support service that I’m no longer interested in the $26 monthly subscription payment because I wasn’t seeing any tangible result. So, my monthly subscription payment got back to the minimum payment of $9.97 per month. And the customer service wrote to let me know that my next payment will be due in the month of August 2024 since I had already paid about $26. I had to inform my bank to intervene. It’s a good thing I live in the UK, so my bank took it up with the company in question and paid me back the 3 payments the company in question has taken from my bank card.

THE DISPLAY OF INJUSTICES!

Furthermore, I tried to log into my account  (the referral programme) but I couldn’t. Then I sent a message to their customer support and I got to know that my account has been cancelled and the reason they gave was that my bank has taken the money they took from my bank card from them and such act could damage the company’s reputation. And that if I would like to continue with the company I should return the money and pay an additional $50. Can you imagine!! They unjustly pulled the rug on me not caring I still have some money in my internal wallet and I also referred a lot of people. Such bad experience of mine should be a serious warning to everyone out there. Do not invest your money where you have no direct access to your funds at all times.

 BUILD YOUR BRAND

Do not allow any company to use their ranking levels or positions to keep you tied down. If you must diversify do not fall into rug pull businesses where your money goes into voice mail {Meaning, disappear} If you must be financially stable in life. Then you must have a geographically marketable skill, which will enable you to make financial progress wherever you reside in any part of the world. Did you know Joseph, virgin Mary’s husband was advised by God’s Angel to flee to the land of Egypt to avoid baby Jesus from being killed by King Herod.!? Whilst he was there he could provide for his immediate family’s needs because he had a geographically marketable skill.
